Virgin Virgo Virginum Medal
In solid silver, Virgo Virginum keeps her bouquet of lilies and her title engraved in the halo.
A Virgin Mary in silver
Mary in profile, a veil resting on her hair, a small bouquet of lilies in her hand, VIRGO VIRGINUM engraved in capital letters in the halo; the satin silver gives the letters the crispness of an inscription. Virgin of virgins, a title from the Litany of Loreto, for a very classic christening medal.
A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver
Like our gold medals, Virgo Virginum is made by stamping: the 925/1000 solid silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same crisp and lasting relief, then given a satin finish to soften the reflections. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.
Diameter, engraving and variations
Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal, the one worn for a lifetime. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. Virgo Virginum is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in silver and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on a solid silver trace or curb chain.
