Antique Madonna Medal

In mother-of-pearl rimmed in silver, the Antique Madonna is a family heirloom in white.

Mary face on, a veil resting on her wavy hair, eyes lowered, the beaded collar, the tunic in regular folds, the radiant halo ringed with beads, carved in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl. The silver rim almost melts into the whiteness and gives this christening medal a very pure unity of tone.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in solid silver

The mother-of-pearl is the same as on our gold and mother-of-pearl medals: natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop. It is set in a 925/1000 solid silver rim, bail included, from 1.00 g of silver in 20 mm to 1.20 g in 24 mm. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

Three diameters, 20, 22 and 24 mm: the 20 mm for a christening, the 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm as a pendant. The Antique Madonna is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in solid silver and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain.
