Virgin and Child Medal Le Regard

In solid silver, Le Regard remains our only Virgin and Child set in a landscape: the lily, the hills, and the gaze full of love of a mother for her child, and vice versa.

A Virgin and Child in silver

Mary, her hair braided beneath a light veil, has brought her face close to that of the Child, nestled in her arms; he raises his hand to her cheek and their gazes meet. Behind them, the tall stem of a lily in bloom and the horizon of hills. The satin-finished silver renders these two planes well, the faces in volume and the landscape in light relief, like an engraving.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, Le Regard is produced by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, which gives exactly the same relief, crisp and lasting, then satin-finished to soften the reflections. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic size of the christening medal, the one that is worn for life. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. Le Regard is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in silver and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on a trace or curb chain in solid silver.
