Notre Dame de Paris Rosette Medal
Notre-Dame de Paris Rose Window Medal crafted in solid 925/1000 silver.
The Rose du Midi, pierced in silver
The medal takes up the great rose of the south transept of Notre-Dame de Paris, the Rose du Midi given by Saint Louis in the thirteenth century, entirely pierced in solid silver: the central quatrefoil, the spokes, the two rings of trefoils and quatrefoils, all cut open, and light passes through the medal as it passes through the stained glass. The polished silver gives this stone network the clarity of lace.
The know-how of Mayaud rose windows
This medal is the silver variation of our Notre-Dame de Paris rose window, of which Manufacture Mayaud was the first to offer the mother-of-pearl and gold version, then the openwork version in solid gold. Registered design filed with the INPI, 100% made in France in our Paris workshop.
