The medal takes up the rose of the west facade of Strasbourg cathedral, completed in the early fourteenth century to the plans of Erwin von Steinbach, and its sixteen wheat-sheaf petals, unique in France: the sixteen spokes radiating from the central quatrefoil, the tapering petals and the ring of small quatrefoils, carved in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl. The silver rim almost melts into the whiteness of the mother-of-pearl.

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, set in a solid 925/1000 silver rim, bail included, from 1.00 g of silver in 20 mm to 1.30 g in 26 mm. Rim in polished finish.

Four diameters, 20, 22, 24 and 26 mm. The Strasbourg rose window is also available in mother-of-pearl and 18-karat gold. To be worn on a solid silver trace chain.

Frequently asked questions

Can the Strasbourg rose window medal be engraved? Yes: the reverse of the mother-of-pearl is smooth and takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package.

Which diameter to choose? The 20 mm for a christening or a child, the 22 or 24 mm for everyday wear, the 26 mm as a pendant.
