Christ - Sacred Heart

In solid silver, the Christ Sacred Heart keeps everything that makes the model: Jesus seen from the front, his gaze direct, pointing to his heart crowned with thorns and surmounted by a cross.

A Christ who shows his heart, in silver

Jesus is seen from the front, his long hair parted in the middle, a radiant halo marked with the cross behind his head. With one hand he points to his heart, girded with the crown of thorns, surmounted by a cross and from which flames rise; the other hand is open towards the viewer. It is the image of the Sacred Heart as fixed by devotion since the apparitions at Paray-le-Monial, in 1673. The frontal gaze, intended by our sculptor, is what strikes first. A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, the Christ Sacred Heart is made by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same relief, just as crisp; the silver medal is thicker. Rhodium-plated, the silver does not tarnish and needs no care. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. The Christ Sacred Heart is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in silver and mother-of-pearl, in vermeil and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
