Pope Leo XIV: Medals and Crosses

For Pope Leo XIV's visit to Paris on 25 and 26 September 2026, Manufacture Mayaud has created a tribute collection: a medal bearing his portrait, an original creation by our sculptor, in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl rimmed in gold or in 18-karat yellow gold, and a gold cross inspired by the pectoral cross he wears. Each piece is made to order in our Paris workshop; the medals can be engraved on the reverse with a first name and date.

Leo XIV, the Pope from Chicago and Peru

Elected on 8 May 2025, Robert Francis Prevost, born in Chicago in 1955, an Augustinian friar and for many years a missionary in Peru, took the name Leo XIV. His visit to France, from 25 to 28 September 2026, takes him to Paris, where he celebrates Vespers at Notre-Dame and Mass on the Place de la Concorde, then to Lourdes and Metz.

A keepsake to hand down

Summer at the Workshop

Our creations continue to be carefully crafted throughout the season.

Some pieces take time: cutting, fitting, engraving, polishing… every step matters. With the summer holidays, some lead times may be slightly longer, and certain productions, notably rings, will resume from September.

The Paris boutique and the workshop will be closed from 11 to 15 August.

Orders placed on the website between 8 August and 16 August will be shipped from 17 August.

Outside these dates, the boutique welcomes you from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 7 pm.
