Christ - Sacred Heart

The Christ Sacred Heart is a christening medal in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl rimmed in 18-karat gold, depicting Jesus seen from the front, his gaze direct, pointing to his heart crowned with thorns and surmounted by a cross.

A Christ who shows his heart, in mother-of-pearl

Jesus is seen from the front, beneath a radiant halo marked with the cross; with one hand he points to his heart girded with thorns, surmounted by a cross and from which flames rise, the other hand open towards the viewer. It is the image of the Sacred Heart fixed by devotion since Paray-le-Monial, in 1673. Carved in natural mother-of-pearl, the portrait takes on the softness of a cameo, and the frontal gaze intended by our sculptor gains still more presence; the gold rim gives it its frame. Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in 18-karat gold

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop and set in an 18-karat yellow gold rim, bail included, from 1.30 g of gold in 18 mm to 1.60 g in 24 mm. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

From 18 to 24 mm: the 18 mm for a christening, the 20 and 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm as a pendant. The smooth reverse of the mother-of-pearl takes an engraving. The Christ Sacred Heart is also available in solid yellow gold, in solid silver, in silver and mother-of-pearl and in gold plate, to be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain.
