Christ - Sacred Heart

The Christ Sacred Heart is a christening medal in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl rimmed in solid silver, depicting Jesus seen from the front, his gaze direct, pointing to his heart crowned with thorns and surmounted by a cross.

A Christ who shows his heart, in mother-of-pearl and silver

Jesus is seen from the front, beneath a radiant halo marked with the cross; with one hand he points to his heart girded with thorns, surmounted by a cross and from which flames rise, the other hand open towards the viewer. It is the image of the Sacred Heart fixed by devotion since Paray-le-Monial, in 1673. Carved in mother-of-pearl, the portrait takes on the softness of a cameo, and the silver rim almost melts into its whiteness. Exclusive Manufacture Mayaud model, registered design.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in solid silver

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop and set in a rhodium-plated solid 925/1000 silver rim, bail included, from 1.00 g of silver in 20 mm to 1.20 g in 24 mm. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

Three diameters, 20, 22 and 24 mm. The smooth reverse of the mother-of-pearl takes an engraving. The Christ Sacred Heart is also available in solid yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in solid silver and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain.
