In solid silver, the Christ Salvator Mundi keeps everything that makes the model: Jesus seen from the front, blessing with one hand and holding in the other the globe surmounted by the cross.

The Saviour of the world, in silver

Jesus is seen from the front, beneath a halo adorned with scrollwork and marked with the cross; his right hand blesses, two fingers raised, his left hand holds the cruciferous globe, the world he saves and carries. It is the image of the Salvator Mundi fixed by the Flemish and Italian painters of the late Middle Ages. In the satin silver, the scrollwork of the halo and the drapery of the tunic stand out crisply.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, the Christ Salvator Mundi is made by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same relief, just as crisp; the silver medal is thicker. Rhodium-plated, the silver does not tarnish and needs no care. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. The Christ Salvator Mundi is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in silver and mother-of-pearl and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
