Christ Salvator Mundi

The Christ Salvator Mundi is a christening medal in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl rimmed in 18-karat gold, depicting Jesus seen from the front, blessing with one hand and holding in the other the globe surmounted by the cross.

The Saviour of the world, in mother-of-pearl

Jesus is seen from the front, beneath a halo adorned with scrollwork and marked with the cross; his right hand blesses, his left hand holds the cruciferous globe. It is the image of the Salvator Mundi fixed by the painters of the late Middle Ages, of which the painting attributed to Leonardo da Vinci remains the most famous version. Carved in natural mother-of-pearl, the portrait takes on the softness of a cameo; the gold rim gives it its frame.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in 18-karat gold

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop and set in an 18-karat yellow gold rim, bail included, from 1.30 g of gold in 18 mm to 1.60 g in 24 mm. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

From 18 to 24 mm: the 18 mm for a christening, the 20 and 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm as a pendant. The smooth reverse of the mother-of-pearl takes an engraving. The Christ Salvator Mundi is also available in solid yellow gold, in solid silver, in silver and mother-of-pearl and in gold plate, to be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain.
