A Christ in profile, in silver

Jesus is seen in profile, turned to the right, his gaze raised, his long hair falling in waves to his shoulders, his beard short. Behind his head, the halo is crossed by a cross, the cruciform nimbus that Christian art has reserved for Christ since the first centuries. The ground stays smooth; in the satin silver, each lock of hair catches the light. The portrait of Christ in its most classic form, that of the medals handed down.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, Le Christ is made by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same relief, just as crisp; the silver medal is thicker. Rhodium-plated, the silver does not tarnish and needs no care. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Exclusive Manufacture Mayaud model, made in France.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. Le Christ is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in silver and mother-of-pearl and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
