Guardian Angel Medal
The Guardian Angel is a gold-plated christening medal depicting the protecting angel watching over a child, in a garden landscape.
An angel who watches over the child
The angel is seen full-length, wings spread, one hand raised to heaven, the other resting on the shoulder of a child at his side. A star-shaped radiance marks the top of the medal, above his head; the ground evokes a garden, with foliage sketched on either side. It is the image of the guardian angel as the catechism describes it: an invisible protector entrusted to each of us from birth, who guides and keeps. One of the oldest and most universal christening medals, which asks for no particular name to be given.
Mayaud gold plate
This medal is made in Mayaud gold plate: a French-made solid gilded brass base, struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, covered with a 3-micron layer of 18-karat (750/1000) gold. Made in our Paris workshop.
Diameter, engraving and variations
Offered in 18 mm, the classic size. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. The Guardian Angel is also available in solid yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in solid silver and in silver and mother-of-pearl.
