The Baptism of Christ is a christening medal in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl rimmed in solid silver, depicting the scene at the Jordan.

Jesus stands in the waters of the Jordan, hands crossed over his chest, haloed. John the Baptist pours water over his head while holding the reed cross; the dove of the Spirit descends above them; on the bank, two angels hold Christ's garments. Carved in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, this multi-figure scene takes on the relief of a cameo. The silver rim almost melts into the whiteness of the mother-of-pearl.

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop and set in a solid 925/1000 silver rim, bail included. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.
Diameters and variations
Three diameters, 20, 22 and 24 mm. The Baptism of Christ is also available in solid yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in solid silver and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain.
