Jesus is my Shepherd is a christening medal in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl rimmed in 18-karat gold, depicting Christ the Good Shepherd, a lamb in his arms and the crook at his shoulder.

Jesus is seen from the front, his head slightly inclined, beneath a radiant halo; he holds against him, with both arms, a lamb whose head rests on his forearm, the crook passed behind his shoulder. It is the Good Shepherd of the Gospel, one of the oldest images of Christ, already painted in the catacombs. Carved in natural mother-of-pearl, the scene takes on the softness of a cameo, and the whiteness of the mother-of-pearl suits the fleece of the lamb; the gold rim closes the medal.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in 18-karat gold

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop and set in an 18-karat yellow gold rim, bail included, from 1.30 g of gold in 18 mm to 1.60 g in 24 mm. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

From 18 to 24 mm: the 18 mm for a christening, the 20 and 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm as a pendant. The smooth reverse of the mother-of-pearl takes an engraving. Jesus is my Shepherd is also available in solid yellow gold, in solid silver, in silver and mother-of-pearl and in gold plate, to be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain.
