Christ Medal Jesus is my Shepherd

In solid silver, Jesus is my Shepherd keeps everything that makes the model: Christ the Good Shepherd, a lamb in his arms and the crook at his shoulder.

Jesus is seen from the front, his head slightly inclined, beneath a radiant halo; he holds against him, with both arms, a lamb whose head rests on his forearm, the crook passed behind his shoulder. It is the Good Shepherd of the Gospel, one of the oldest images of Christ, already painted in the catacombs. For a christening, it says simply that the child is this lamb, carried. In the satin silver, the fleece and the drapery stand out in deep relief.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, Jesus is my Shepherd is made by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same relief, just as crisp; the silver medal is thicker. Rhodium-plated, the silver does not tarnish and needs no care. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. Jesus is my Shepherd is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in silver and mother-of-pearl, in vermeil and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
