Chi-Rho Medal

In solid silver, Le Chrisme keeps everything that makes the model: the monogram of Christ between Alpha and Omega, on a hammered ground with the look of an ancient coin.

The interlaced Chi and Rho, Alpha and Omega on either side, in the pared-back design of fourth-century coins; the satin silver catches the light on the grain of the ground. The sign Constantine had placed on his standards in 312, on a medal with no figure, for all ages.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, Le Chrisme is made by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same relief, just as crisp; the silver medal is thicker. Rhodium-plated, the silver does not tarnish and needs no care. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. Le Chrisme is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl, in silver and mother-of-pearl and in gold plate, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
