Saint Christopher

This second Saint Christopher is a christening medal in 18-karat yellow gold that takes up the same subject in a broader composition, the Child seated on his shoulder.

Christopher is seen almost from the front, standing in the water, the tunic draped over one shoulder, the staff held in both hands; the Child, seated on his right shoulder, rests a hand on the saint's head. The landscape, more open than on the first model, shows the far bank. It is a more frontal and broader composition than the first, which gives the colossus his full stature. A christening medal for those who love well-filled scenes, and a classic gift before a journey or a driving licence.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in 18-karat gold

Like all our gold medals, this Saint Christopher is made by stamping: the 750/1000 gold blank is struck under an engraved die, for a crisp and lasting relief, then satin-finished. The gold weight is 2.30 g in 16 mm and 2.90 g in 18 mm. Exclusive Manufacture Mayaud model, registered with the INPI, made in France.

Diameter, engraving and variations

The 16 mm is the christening size; the 18 mm, the classic size. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package.
