Solid silver Occitan cross
Manufacture Mayaud's solid silver Occitan cross takes up, in 15 × 15 mm, the Languedoc cross with its twelve pommettes, in an exclusive creation crafted in our Paris workshop.
The Languedoc cross in silver
Four equal arms, flared and clechy, punctuated by twelve pommettes; a solid cross edged with a raised fillet, with at its centre a fine cross ending in four balls, recalling the openwork design of the Toulouse cross. Silver gives it a soft white light. It is the emblem of the Counts of Toulouse, of Languedoc and of the culture of oc: our guide the Occitan cross, history and meaning tells its origin and explains why it is sometimes wrongly called the Cathar cross.
