A Virgin Mary in mother-of-pearl
Mary in profile, her face raised towards God, a veil resting on her hair that lets a long mane fall over her shoulder, hands joined, fingers pressed together in prayer, her dress with its embroidered bodice beneath the tunic. The hair, carved in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, is the most delicate detail of this christening medal.
Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in 18-karat gold
Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop and set in an 18-karat yellow gold rim, bail included, from 1.30 g of gold in 18 mm to 1.60 g in 24 mm. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.
Diameters and variations
From 18 to 24 mm: the 18 mm for a christening, the 20 and 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm as a pendant. The Virgin in Prayer is available in solid yellow gold, in solid silver and in silver and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain.
