A Virgin Mary in mother-of-pearl and silver
Mary standing, face on, hands open, within the starry mandorla ringed by her Latin prayer and her ornate frame, carved in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl. The silver rim almost melts into the whiteness and gives this christening medal a very pure unity of tone.
Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in solid silver
The mother-of-pearl is the same as on our gold and mother-of-pearl medals: natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop. It is set in a 925/1000 solid silver rim, bail included, from 1.10 g of silver in 22 mm to 1.20 g in 24 mm. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.
Diameters and variations
Offered in 22 and 24 mm, the diameters that leave the design fully legible. Virgo Immaculata is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in solid silver, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain.
