Virgin of the Lilies Medal

In solid silver, the Virgin with Lilies holds her flower in a pale metal that suits her.

A Virgin Mary in silver

Mary in profile, a veil resting on her hair, eyes lowered, both hands closed around the stem of lilies against her chest; the gesture of the hands remains the most finely worked point of the relief. The lily, Mary's flower, speaks the purity of this christening medal.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, the Virgin with Lilies is made by stamping: the 925/1000 solid silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same crisp and lasting relief, then given a satin finish to soften the reflections. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal, the one worn for a lifetime. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. The Virgin with Lilies is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in silver and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on a solid silver trace or curb chain.
