Virgin of the Immaculate Conception Medal
In solid silver, the Immaculate Conception, Our Lady of Lourdes, keeps her hands joined over her rosary.
A Virgin Mary in silver
Mary in three-quarter view, a veil resting on her hair, the halo drawn in a single line, her joined hands from which hangs a rosary, her gaze turned towards the one looking at her; the beads of the rosary stand out well in satin silver. A natural christening medal for a family attached to Lourdes.
A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver
Like our gold medals, the Immaculate Conception is made by stamping: the 925/1000 solid silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same crisp and lasting relief, then given a satin finish to soften the reflections. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.
Diameter, engraving and variations
Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal, the one worn for a lifetime. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. The Immaculate Conception is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in silver and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on a solid silver trace or curb chain.
