The knight and the dragon, in silver
George, in armour, gallops forward and drives his spear into the dragon. Like our gold medals, it is made by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, giving exactly the same relief, then given a satin finish. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm.
Diameter, engraving and variations
Offered in 18 mm. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. Saint George is also available in 18-karat yellow gold and in gold and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
