Virgin and Child Medal
In solid silver, Le Lien keeps its sobriety: Mary in profile, entirely devoted to her son, and the Child nestled in her arms, pensive and happy.
A Virgin and Child in silver
Mary, a veil resting on her hair and falling in long folds down her back, lowers her eyes towards the Child whom she holds nestled in her arms, her open hand beneath him; he seems lost in his thoughts, happy, in a state of near beatitude. The smooth background, Mary's bracelet and the embroidered border of her dress can be read in fine lines in the satin-finished silver.
A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver
Like our gold medals, Le Lien is made by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, which gives exactly the same relief, crisp and lasting, then given a satin finish to soften the reflections. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.
Diameter, engraving and variations
Offered in 18 mm, the classic size for a christening medal, the one that is worn for a lifetime. The smooth reverse accommodates an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. Le Lien is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in silver and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
