A Virgin and Child in silver

Mary, a veil held on her forehead and covering her hair, inclines her head, her eyes lowered towards her son; the Child, nestled in her arms, looks up at her and places his hand on her neck. The two haloes ringed with beads overlap above the faces; in satin-finished silver, each bead catches a point of light, and the medal sparkles without glaring.

A christening medal struck in the traditional way in solid silver

Like our gold medals, this Virgin and Child is obtained by stamping: the solid 925/1000 silver blank is struck under the same engraved die as the gold version, which gives exactly the same relief, crisp and lasting, then satin-finished to soften the reflections. The silver weighs 3.60 g in 18 mm. Made in France, in our workshop.

Diameter, engraving and variations

Offered in 18 mm, the classic christening medal size, the one that is worn for a lifetime. The smooth reverse takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package. The Botticelli Virgin and Child is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in silver and mother-of-pearl, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain or curb chain.
