Virgin of Adoration Medal
Virgin of Adoration medal in 18-karat 750/1000 yellow gold and natural extra-white jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl.
We wanted to pay tribute to the most famous Florentine painter of the Early Renaissance.
It was in Florence that Fra Filippo Lippi perfected a style that went on to inspire a great many Italian painters, starting with his pupil, Sandro Botticelli. Elegant, slender figures, depicted in dynamic poses, in settings and attire of great refinement.
Our medal is a portrait of an elegant Virgin, with fine features, absorbed in her thoughts, discreetly evoking a deeper symbolism.
It is inspired by "La Lippina". A major work painted by Fra Filippo Lippi around 1460 and held at the Uffizi in Florence.
We have put all our heart and craftsmanship into this work to present it to you in this version in mother-of-pearl and 18-karat gold.
