Virgin and Child Le Regard

In mother-of-pearl and 18-karat gold, Le Regard becomes a small landscape of light: the lily, the hills and the two faces filled with love, sculpted in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl.

Mary, her hair braided beneath a light veil, has brought her face close to that of the Child, nestled in her arms; he raises his hand to her cheek and their gazes meet. Behind them, the tall lily stem and the horizon of hills, in gentle relief, take on in mother-of-pearl the look of a scene engraved on a background of cloud: it is the most pictorial of our christening medals, and mother-of-pearl suits it particularly well.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, set in 18-karat gold

To render both the faces in volume and the landscape in finesse, natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade is required, with an even whiteness across its whole surface. Bezel and bail in 18-karat yellow gold, from 1.30 g of gold in 18 mm to 1.60 g in 24 mm. Bezel in polished finish. Crafted to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

From 18 to 24 mm: the 18 mm for a christening, the 20 and 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm gives the landscape its full legibility. Le Regard is available in solid yellow gold and in solid silver, to be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain.
