Mary, a veil held back on her forehead, tilts her head towards her son, who raises his gaze to her, his hand on her neck. Each bead engraved in the mother-of-pearl answers the gleam of the silver bezel; the exchange of gazes so characteristic of Botticelli remains at the heart of this christening medal.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, set in solid silver

The mother-of-pearl is the same as on our gold and mother-of-pearl medals: natural extra-white, jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, carved in our workshop. It is set in a solid 925/1000 silver bezel, bail included, from 1.00 g of silver in 20 mm to 1.20 g in 24 mm. Bezel in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

Three diameters, 20, 22 and 24 mm: the 20 mm for a christening, the 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm as a pendant. Botticelli's Virgin and Child is also available in 18-karat yellow gold, in gold and mother-of-pearl and in solid silver, to be worn on a solid silver trace chain.
