Square Trefoil Cross
The Square Trefoil Cross is an openwork pendant cross in 18-karat yellow gold, with four equal arms ending in trefoils.
A Greek cross with trefoil ends
The four arms, of equal length, fit within a square; each ends in a three-lobed trefoil and shows, cut through, a circle and a quatrefoil. At the centre, a pierced quatrefoil joins the arms. This design is that of Gothic tracery and of the trefoil crosses of heraldry, here entirely cut through in gold: a light, graphic cross, as much a piece of jewellery as a sign. Made in 750/1000 yellow gold in our Paris workshop, each cross is made to order: allow 10 to 15 days before dispatch. Made in France.
Sizes and variations
Two sizes: 18 x 18 mm, for everyday wear, and 30 x 30 mm, as a pendant. The Square Trefoil Cross is also available in solid silver; see also the Rose Window Cross, with its cathedral tracery. To be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain.
