The Fleur-de-Lis

The Fleur-de-Lys is a medal in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl rimmed in solid silver, depicting a fleur-de-lys, symbol of purity and of the Holy Trinity.

A fleur-de-lys, Marian and trinitarian symbol

At the centre, a single fleur-de-lys in relief stands out against the same lobed, beaded rim as on our other medals in this collection. Beyond its beauty, the fleur-de-lys is a symbol of peace and purity; its three petals traditionally represent the Most Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, which frequently associates it with the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. Our sculptor gave the flower a crisp relief, with clean edges, which catches the light well on the mother-of-pearl.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, rimmed in solid silver

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, carved in our workshop and set in a rhodium-plated 925/1000 silver rim, bail included. Rim in polished finish. Made to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

Three diameters, 20, 22 and 24 mm: the 20 mm for discreet wear, the 22 mm for everyday, the 24 mm as a pendant. The Fleur-de-Lys is also available in mother-of-pearl and 18-karat gold; see also the Star of Lilies, with four flowers in a cross. To be worn on a solid silver trace chain.
