Pope Leo XIV Cross in 18-Karat Yellow Gold

The Pope Leo XIV cross by Manufacture Mayaud is inspired by the pectoral cross the Pope wears in his official portrait. We designed it in tribute to his visit to Paris on 25 and 26 September 2026, and make it in 18-karat yellow gold in our Paris workshop.

The design of the cross

A Latin cross with gently flared arms. On each arm, a raised central panel, mirror-polished and bevelled, is framed by a moulding; at the crossing, the four panels meet in a diamond point. Each end finishes with two small scrolls, a palmette finial and, on the three lower arms, a gold bead; at the top, the finial carries the bail. The contrast between the polished panels and the satin ground gives the cross its light.

18-karat yellow gold, made in Paris

18-karat yellow gold (750/1000), 36 mm high, 28 mm wide and 1.7 mm thick, bail not included, for 4.80 g of gold. Made to order in our Paris workshop: allow 10 to 15 days before dispatch. To be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain, alone or with the Leo XIV medal. On request, the reverse can take an engraving, first name and date, done in Paris.
