The cable chain in rhodium-plated solid silver is the classic christening chain in silver: a simple, solid, unisex link that does not tarnish.
The cable link
Oval rings passed one through the other: the cable chain is the most widespread neck chain, discreet, timeless, leaving the medal or pendant in the foreground. A safe choice kept for a lifetime, to accompany our silver medals as well as our pendants.
Rhodium-plated solid 925/1000 silver
This chain is made in solid 925/1000 silver, rhodium-plated: a thin layer of rhodium protects the silver from oxidation, so the chain does not blacken and needs no care. The weight of each variant is shown in its name, from 2.15 g for the 40 cm in 1.5 mm to 7.25 g for the 60 cm in 2.15 mm.
Lengths, gauges and advice
Four gauges, from 1.5 to 2.15 mm, and lengths from 40 to 60 cm. The 1.5 and 1.6 mm are the standard gauges of a silver christening chain, in 40 or 45 cm; the 1.9 and 2.15 mm suit pendants and adult daily wear.
