Curb Chain
The curb chain in rhodium-plated solid silver is, with the cable chain, the great classic of the silver christening chain: a flat, very strong link that does not tarnish.
The curb link
Rings twisted then flattened, lying flat on the skin and catching the light along the whole length: the curb chain is an old link, timeless and unisex, which goes with every pendant and every medal.
Rhodium-plated solid 925/1000 silver
This chain is made in solid 925/1000 silver, rhodium-plated: the layer of rhodium protects the silver from oxidation, the chain does not blacken and needs no care. The weight of each variant is shown in its name, from 3.55 g for the 40 cm in 1.7 mm to 9.25 g for the 60 cm in 2.4 mm.
Lengths, gauges and advice
Three gauges, 1.7, 2.1 and 2.4 mm, and lengths from 40 to 60 cm; the gauges offered increase with the length. The 1.7 mm is the standard gauge of a silver christening chain; the 2.1 and 2.4 mm suit pendants and adult daily wear.
