The Mayaud Cross
The Mayaud Cross is a pendant cross in 18-karat yellow gold whose arms, edged with a row of beads, end in carved palmettes: the Manufacture's signature cross.
A beaded cross, with flowering ends
A Latin cross of classic proportions, the upright longer than the crossbar. Each arm is edged with a double row of beads running to the ends, where the design opens into a three-lobed palmette, like a stylised fleur-de-lys. The smooth centre lets the light play on the polished gold. Our sculptor took up here the vocabulary of old goldsmiths' crosses, the beaded row and the finial, to make a piece of great legibility, recognisable from afar. Exclusive Manufacture Mayaud creation, registered design.
