The medal takes up a rose of Saint-André cathedral in Bordeaux, where Eleanor of Aquitaine was married in 1137: a four-lobed heart from which spring soufflets and flame-shaped mouchettes, branching to the edge, carved in jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl. The silver rim almost melts into the whiteness of the mother-of-pearl.

Natural extra-white mother-of-pearl of jewellery grade, set in a solid 925/1000 silver rim, bail included, from 1.00 g of silver in 20 mm to 1.30 g in 26 mm. Rim in polished finish.

Diameters and variations

Four diameters, 20, 22, 24 and 26 mm. The Bordeaux rose window is also available in mother-of-pearl and 18-karat gold, in openwork solid gold and in openwork solid silver. To be worn on a solid silver trace chain.

Frequently asked questions

Can the Bordeaux rose window medal be engraved? Yes: the reverse of the mother-of-pearl is smooth and takes an engraving, first name and date, carried out in the workshop with the engraving package.
