The Rosette Cross
The Rose Window Cross is an openwork pendant cross in 18-karat yellow gold, which transposes into the shape of a cross the tracery of the Notre-Dame de Paris rose window.
A Notre-Dame rose window turned into a cross
Four lobes arranged in a cross, each filled with pierced Gothic tracery: lancets, trefoils and quatrefoils cut through the gold, around a central quatrefoil. This tracery is inspired by the great rose window of Notre-Dame de Paris, which Manufacture Mayaud has been transposing for many years into its mother-of-pearl and gold medals, here unfolded into a cross.
