Botticelli Madonna

In mother-of-pearl and 18-karat gold, the Botticelli Madonna recovers something of the painting: jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl has the pallor of Florentine complexions.

A Virgin and Child in mother-of-pearl

Mary's veil, edged with its engraved border, falls in soft folds; the Child, nestled against her, places his hand on her cheek and looks at her. Botticelli painted faces of a luminous pallor, barely tinged with pink; mother-of-pearl, better than gold, renders their softness. The border of the veil and the two halos, engraved in the material, can be read in transparency.

Jewellery-grade mother-of-pearl, set in 18-karat gold

We sculpt this model in natural extra-white mother-of-pearl, of jewellery grade, chosen for the softness of its whiteness, which leaves all its light to the face of the Madonna. Bezel and bail in 18-karat yellow gold, from 1.30 g of gold in 18 mm to 1.60 g in 24 mm. Bezel in polished finish. Crafted to order in our Paris workshop, within 2 to 3 days.

Diameters and variations

From 18 to 24 mm: the 18 mm for a christening, the 20 and 22 mm for everyday wear, the 24 mm as a pendant. The Botticelli Madonna is available in solid yellow gold, in solid silver, in vermeil and in an Excellence version, to be worn on an 18-karat yellow gold trace chain.
